Woodward’s MicroNet™ Plus customizable control system is a flexible, state-of-the-art system specifically designed for controlling gas and steam turbines.
 
The MicroNet Plus control system provides a flexible platform to control any prime mover and its associated processes including: 
  • High-speed control functions
  • System sequencing
  • Auxiliary system control
  • Surge control
  • Monitoring and alarming
  • Station control
The digital MicroNet control is available in both simplex and dual redundant configurations. Each version is expandable into multiple chassis as required by the application size, and will support any mix of I/O, including networked distributed I/O.
 
MicroNet Plus control capabilities include:
  • Speed and load control
  • Temperature and process control
  • Combustion control
  • Anti-surge control
  • System sequencing and package auxiliary control
  • Rigorous load rejection performance
  • Complex DLE fuel control algorithms

  • Time stamping of events to 1 ms

  • Temperature: 0 to 55 °C (32 to 131 °F) ambient air temperature range
  • Shock: US MIL-STD-810C, method 516.2-1, procedure 1B (15 G, 11 ms half-sine pulse)
  • Vibration: Lloyd’s ENV2 test #1
